Scotland's Malt Whisky Trail

The only Malt Whisky Trail in the World is set in Speyside - home to more than half of Scotland's distilleries. The Trail includes the famous Glenfiddich Distillery, just six miles from Aswanley. On the way to Dufftown, the Malt Whisky Capital, you will pass the romantic Auchindoun Castle ruins silhouetted on the horizon and behind Ben Rinnes, where you will be rewarded for your climb with the most fantastic view of the Highlands. Aberdeenshire Castles: kildrummy castle

Aberdeenshire Castle Trail

'Aberdeenshire is matchless in the richness of its castle tradition. A selection of eleven of the world's most unique castles ranging from the fairy tale magic of Craigievar, to the rugged splendour of Kildrummy Castle ruins, to the country house grandeur of Leith Hall. The properties on Scotland's only Castle Trail have every credential which a castle needs - romanticism, legend, history and even ghosts'

North East Scotland's Coastal Trail
