Stratinnan is a highland holiday cottage situated near the River Deveron - it is ideal for people wanting to combine family life with fishing holidays.
Straitinnan looks out over the Deveron valley towards Aswanley. It is set in its own enclosed grassy garden, which children and dogs can run around in. The highland holiday cottage has been equipped to help make your holiday more child friendly. Pets are also allowed - so the family dog can come along to!
This highland holiday cottage has two bedrooms upstairs, a newly renovated double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a twin room. Downstairs, there is an additional bathroom and another toilet in the utility room at the back door. The holiday cottage has a new open plan kitchen (April 2012) and dining room, and spacious sunny conservatory. The sitting room has an an open fire (with fire guard) to keep you snug in the colder months, and has recently been equipped with a new Sony Bravia 32" LCD TV with Freeview.
From the holiday cottage you can see down to the River Deveron where there is a lovely place for a picnic and a suitable inlet for small children to paddle, with a deeper pool nearby for older children to swim - you can amble across the fields, or if you have a pram or pushchair, it is a ten minute walk down the road.
The proximity to the River Deveron also makes the cottage very handy for fly fishing holidays, especially people who are trying fly fishing for the first time, as some of the easiest pools to fish on the River Deveron are within walking distance of the cottage.

The holiday cottage's garden has a sandpit where children can play in full view of the conservatory. There's also a cupboard full of games and children's books which will (hopefully) help to keep the children entertained - the conservatory is a lovely place to play indoors, as it gets beautifully warm even in the heart of winter. Although the holiday cottage is equipped for child friendly holidays, all the equipment is stored away discreetly so that it does not affect visitors without children.
