Welcome to Aswanley, home of the Ingleby family. Aswanley is situated in the unspoilt valley of the River Deveron, on the edge of the Scottish Highlands near Huntly, Aberdeenshire. It's been a much-loved family home for many generations and it's a wonderful place for weddings and holidays in the Highlands.

An exclusive Scottish wedding venue

We have a magnificent Victorian steading, which we have transformed into one of the most flexible and spacious Scottish wedding venues. The wedding party has exclusive use of the wedding venue - it can be used for religious and civil wedding ceremonies, or solely as a wedding reception venue. The wedding venue includes everything you need for a wedding, from chairs & tables to a well equipped catering kitchen, including cutlery, crockery and glassware.

Luxury self catering holiday cottages

There are three luxury self-catering holiday cottages on the Aswanley estate. Choose from Jocky Milne's - one of the most romantic Highland holiday cottages for two people; Wester Park - a luxury lodge ideal for fishing holidays or large groups of friends; or Stratinnan - situated near the River Deveron, it has been equipped to make your holiday with young children easier, and is ideal for those who want to combine child friendly holidays with fishing.

Corporate events venue

The Aswanley steading is a spacious, flexible events venue for all different types of events - from meetings, to company 'away days' to entertaining guests as part of a team building outdoor event. For a conference, the events venue has three separate areas, which provide limitless options for teambuilding activities and conference workshops. The grounds and events venue are available to hire for event management companies to stage their own events. Recent events have included a whisky tasting evening, corporate team building day and clay pigeon shooting competition.

Traditional highland field sports

We offer tailor made fly fishing, shooting and stalking holidays, let along with our luxury self catering holiday cottages. We specialise in providing fly-fishing, shooting and stalking outings in a relaxed family atmosphere, in a way that was traditional for Highland families. These outings can be arranged to suit your group, from children trying fishing for the first time to more experienced groups on deer stalking holidays.
