Events, Team Building Days & Field Sports
At Aswanley, we offer unique team building days in partnership with Land Rover Experience Scotland, as well as the hire of our exceptional facilities to events companies who wish to run their own team building days, or to use Aswanley as a meeting or corporate events venue.
Host your own event or team building days
Aswanley is a flexible venue suitable for a variety of events and team building days, both indoor and outdoor. The fireplace room is the central space in the events venue. At one end is the enormous baronial fireplace, at the other a contemporary oak bar. The furniture can be arranged to suit the size and needs of your event – for a small intimate meeting, sofas and armchairs can surround the fire, with a dining table for up to forty people. For a conference, the events venue has three separate areas, which provide limitless options for team building days and conference workshops.
Land Rover Experience
We have teamed up with Land Rover Experience Scotland to create a purpose built 4WD course at Aswanley. Situated on Jock’s Hill, high above the Aswanley Steading, it offers excitement, challenges and breathtaking views of the Highlands towards Ben Rinnes. We can provide half day off-road driving courses, or full day team building days. For more information please see Land Rover Experience Scotland at Aswanley.
Clay Pigeon Shooting and other Field Sports
Simulated driven clay pigeon shooting is often run in rotation with the Land Rover Experience half day team building days. We can also offer this as part of other team building days.
Guests staying in our holiday cottages can take part in fly fishing and stalking outings on the estate. We specialise in providing field sports in a relaxed family atmosphere – in a way that was traditional for Highland families. We cater for all levels of experience from children trying fly fishing for the first time to experienced stalkers looking for a challenge.
Aswanley is an interesting location for TV and film. The barn is spacious and adaptable, decorated in neutral tones. It is a homely space but large enough for a film crew, with parking, toilets and kitchen facilities.
The surrounding landscape is incredibly varied, from valley river scenes to highland moorland, ancient woodland, marshland and arable.
The events venue includes a large hall, ladies and gents toilets. We also have a well-equipped catering kitchen, which includes cutlery, crockery and glassware for up to 150 people. Although the space itself can accommodate up to 300 people.
The venue is available to hire exclusively to run your own event or team building days. Recent events have included a whisky tasting evening, corporate team building days and clay pigeon shooting competition.
