Catering: We can arrange for catering in our cottages or simply flowers, champagne and chocolates to be left for your arrival, or a breakfast basket. Please get in touch for details.
Fly Fishing: Fly fishing for salmon and trout is available to guests staying in the holiday cottages. Aswanley offers informal trout and salmon fly fishing holidays for up to eight rods on the River Deveron. We can organise a Gillie to show you the river and give lessons if required.
Activities: There is a range of activities on offer in western Aberdeenshire – with the famous Whisky trail and Castle trail nearby, lots of walkings and purpose built mountain bike trails in the area.
Family Friendly: Please let us know if you are coming on holiday with babies or toddlers. All our cottages have high chairs and travel cots.
Dog Friendly: Dogs are welcome in all our cottages. Straitinnan has an enclosed garden which is ideal for dogs to run around in (Wester Park and Jocky Milne’s have a large garden but they are not enclosed).
Have a safer stay: We are part of the country cottages ‘Safer Stays’ initiative which sets out measures to be taken to make things as safe as possible for guests and staff during the pandemic. These measures include longer cleaning periods, sanitising high risk areas and leaving extra time between guest changeovers.
