What age do I have to be to take part in a Land Rover Experience Scotland Adventure?

To drive on road customers must have a valid driving license and be over the age of 23. If the customer is driving off road only then they just need to have a valid driving license.

I have points on my driving license, will I still be able to drive?

If you have more than 6 points you will not be able to drive on the road but you can drive off-road.

Do I have to drive or can I just be a passenger?

It is possible to just be a passenger – it is completely up to the guest on the day.

How many guests can I bring with me?

We allow up to 3 passengers* in any vehicle. *Please note if your experience is in an Evoque or Discovery Sport you can take only two guests.

Will it be fun?

Absolutely. You will be taken by a fully qualified Land Rover Experience instructor who will tailor the experience to you. You can concentrate off-road, add some on-road dynamics, get to understand some of the technology, it’s up to you. Just let your instructor know what you need. If you book a full day it will allow you to tackle more challenging and seemingly impassable terrain. You maximise your time off-road and learn how to handle a vehicle in more extreme conditions, going deeper into driving techniques and putting them into practice.

Can I use my own vehicle?

Yes you can but this is at your own risk. We do not take responsibility for the vehicle if it is damaged in any way. As part of the course you will do a ‘risk assessment’ where you will assess dangerous situations which could cause minor damage e.g. a puncture. It is the owners responsibility to ensure the vehicle is insured for off-road driving. Please also be aware that tow bars and side steps can be a hindrance when driving off-road and in some cases are better removed.
