The Dinner

The dining room is in an atmospheric barn with the original beams and cartwheel chandeliers, accessed from the Fireplace room by large pine doors. A series of curtained white arches separate the dining room and the ballroom. When dinner is finished the curtains can be drawn to reveal the adjacent ballroom.

Catering

We work with a select group of trusted Aberdeenshire and Moray caterers. They can provide menus suitable for a range of budgets. We have a well equipped catering kitchen in the barn which is included in the cost of the wedding venue hire; cutlery, crockery and glassware for up to 150 people is also included.

Table Setup

 

We have rectangular or round dining tables for up to 200 guests. Each rectangular table is 4ft x 2ft 6inches (2ft 5.5 inches to the ground). We also have 12 x 6ft round tables each seating 10 – 12 guests.

We have five different configurations for the carpeted dining area which can seat a maximum of 154 guests: Top Table with parallel tables, Parallel Tables, Triples, Rounds with top table, Rounds without top table. For larger weddings of more than 154 people, extra tables can be placed on the dancefloor adjacent to the dining room (separated only be four archways).

We can arrange the hire of further tables and chairs to accommodate larger parties on request.

We have a bespoke online Seating Planner to help you with your table plans. You can choose your table layout, input your guests’ names, move them around, save and print it ready for your wedding reception. You will be given access on booking your wedding.
