The Dinner

The dining room is in an atmospheric barn with the original beams and cartwheel chandeliers, accessed from the fireplace room by large wooden doors. The dining room can seat up to 154 people to dine banqueting style. A series of curtained white arches separate the dining room and the ballroom. When dinner is finished the curtains can be drawn to reveal the adjacent ballroom. Or for larger weddings, the dining room can be combined with the ballroom to seat up to 250 people.

Catering

We work with a select group of Aberdeenshire and Moray caterers. They can provide menus suitable for a range of budgets. We have a well equipped catering kitchen in the barn which is included in the venue hire fee; cutlery, crockery and glassware for up to 150 people is also included.

Table Setup

Our dining space is incredibly versatile accommodating both small and large weddings. Our most popular table layouts are illustrated in our Aswanley Table Planner. The table plans can be used in conjunction with various online wedding planning tools to design your seating plans.

We have rectangular or round dining tables for up to 200 guests. We can arrange the hire of further tables and chairs to accommodate larger parties on request.
